Posted in Cool Stuff by Lpspider on August 2nd, 2006 Yep. Tis true. Over at Earner’s Forum they held a contest that lasted about a month. I’m number three of five winners.
To be honest, after the contest was stretched to last for a month I almost gave up. I had no intention of spending all my spare time for a month on something like this - but in the last few days before it ended, I decided I might just have a chance. Turns out, I was right. I had a decent combination of “points” - nearly 1000 posts, 1000 points worth of articles, 1 blog post (here) and about 2 referrals. It paid off.
I’m excited about this, yet somehow awkwardly calm.
Anyway, I’m not sure of about how I’m going to use the prize money. The two most valuable prizes, in my opinion, are the $1,000 cash and the niche website which is, in theory, already making money and getting traffic. In time, this should pay off well if I maintain it right.
I suppose with this I’ll either invest the money into my existing sites, particularly my Philosophy Forum. If not that, I’ll invest it into a computer with some decent features that I need.
Anyway, just an update on it. Thank you all.
