Vista: To be Delayed?
Posted in Microsoft by Lpspider on July 31st, 2006 Last Thursday Microsoft failed to end the fear that the new version of Windows software - Microsoft Windows Vista - would be delayed yet again. This brought up the issues that the growth of related technology may temporarily stagnate; particularly programs and applications specifically related to the Windows system. Because of this, Microsoft’s shares dropped 2% down to $23.87 on the NASDAQ.
Kevin Johnson, the co-president of Microsoft’s platforms and services unit say that they’ll “ship Windows Vista when it is available.”
Windows currently supplies the operating system for more than 90% of worldwide PCs. It has been five years since Microsoft released it’s last Operating System, and Vista is speculated to be released in early 2007.
